Is Christmas an Event on a Cruising Boat?

We are often asked what we do for Christmas when we live in a tropical climate on a sailboat.

Christmas 2018 we celebrated with our friends Steph and Stu with a Christmas eve pub crawl.

A Pub Crawl..??? You bet, Island Style.

Around our anchorage in the East lemons of San Blas, is 4 little islands, each of which sell beer to some degree, some just out of a refrigerator, and some in distinct Restaurants.

We did a dinghy tour of them all, sharing the Cheer between them.

Do we have a Christmas tree? YOU BET, we built one out of a palm leave this year.

And chrismas dinner you ask? Of COURSE, and breakfast as well.

This year we were joined by our friends Steph and Stuart from Matador, as well as Alan from HonaLee.

After dinner on the boat, we had been invited to share dinner with the Kuna friends at Puksus restaurant. Juan and his friends were very happy to extend their appreciation to us, and ours to them. Such great people.

We spend many evenings with Juan and Puksu at the restaurant and they are fabulous people.
